Neptune's newest Point of Presence is now live at NextDC P2, delivering faster, more reliable connectivity to customers in Western Australia.
It’s been a busy few weeks, so this update is a little late — but Neptune's Perth Point of Presence (POP) at NextDC P2 is now live.

Perth joins our rapidly growing national network:
Our POP Locations
- Melbourne (NextDC M1) – IP transit via Global Secure Layer, EdgeIX and VIC IX local peering.
- Sydney (Equinix SY1) – IP transit via Global Secure Layer and NextHop, with EdgeIX local peering.
- Brisbane (NextDC B2) – IP transit via Global Secure Layer, EdgeIX and QLD IX local peering.
- Perth (NextDC P2) – IP transit via Global Secure Layer, EdgeIX and WA IX local peering.
Why This Matters
Our Perth POP brings Western Australia into Neptune’s national network, keeping local traffic in-state and reducing the need for long east coast paths. That means lower latency, and better routing for WA customers.
